Thirty-five hundred miles in the Mustang

Well, the summer is over and we're back home again getting ready to get back to work. It went by too fast but we had some fun traveling and visiting the grandchildren (and our kids too). Two round trips to Wilmington, a couple to Pennsylvania, and one to Montreal put about thirty-five hundred miles on the 'Stang. This is a bit less than the five thousand miles we travelled last summer, but that included Alabama and New Orleans. We did plan to get to Boston and Baltimore, but those trips never panned out. Maybe we'll get to Boston in the fall.

Traveling is fun, but it's nice to get back home. I'm reminded of the song Truckin';

You're sick of hangin' around and you'd like to travel;
Get tired of travelin' and you want to settle down.
I guess they can't revoke your soul for tryin',
Get out of the door and light out and look all around.

Ah, I love Truckin'! I remember listening to it all the time in college. Did you know that it was recognised by the US Library of Congress as a National Treasure? Atleast according to Wikipedia....
Nice post!
